Exness deposit at a glance

Depositing is the step between opening an account and placing a trade: the account exists as soon as registration is complete, but it cannot open a position until it is funded. What decides how that works is set out below.

Minimum deposit applicable; may vary based on payment method or geographic location.

Zero$200

Why the minimum deposit differs by account

Standard and Standard Cent are built to remove that first barrier entirely — both open and fund with no minimum initial deposit, which is why they are usually the first account a new trader opens after finishing the steps on the account-opening page. Pro, Raw Spread and Zero ask for a $200 minimum instead, because they are priced for a trader already committing to tighter spreads or a per-lot commission rather than testing the platform.

None of that changes what a deposit itself costs. Exness does not charge a fee to receive money into an account — the only place a charge can appear is on the sending side, from a bank or a payment provider, a detail worth checking on the fees page before choosing a method.

What a deposit does and does not do

A deposit is credited to one trading account, not to a profile as a whole — an account opened later needs its own funding, even under the same login. Money already deposited is also what limits an ordinary withdrawal: amounts up to what was deposited return by the same method, while profit above that is paid out separately, a distinction covered in more detail on the minimum withdrawal page. Whichever account type is chosen, the base currency set at signup is the one a deposit is measured against, so a payment made in another currency is converted on the way in.
