You sign in to Exness through your Personal Area — the secure client portal where you manage accounts, deposits, withdrawals and platform passwords.

One email and password open it, and everything else branches out from there: up to 200 trading accounts across MT4, MT5 and the Terminal, each carrying its own separate password. That split is behind most refused logins: the credentials that open the portal are not the credentials that connect a chart to the server. Two-factor approval, when it is switched on, sits at the portal step only.
How to log in to Exness
- Open the Personal Area sign-in page in a browser, or the Exness Trade app — both lead to the same portal and the same account list.
- Enter the email the account was registered with and the portal password, not a platform password.
- Approve the second factor if it was switched on; the prompt appears before the account list, never after it.
- Pick the trading account to work in, then open it in the Terminal or connect MT4 or MT5 to it with that account’s own password.
Security & password reset
A forgotten portal password is reset by email from the sign-in screen. Two-factor authentication is switched on inside the portal and applies to the portal, which is where deposits, withdrawals and account settings live — the reason it matters more than a chart password does. A platform password is a different object with a different reset path.

Resetting the portal password leaves every MT4 and MT5 password untouched — they are set per trading account inside the portal and have to be changed there.
